Zebrawood timber refers to a tree grown mostly in West Africa. The wood, which is light brown in color, features dark black streaks similar that of the stripes of a zebra, so the name Zebrawood. The most common use of this wood is as veneer. Besides that it is used for making furniture, tool handles, skis, and boats.
